Does anybody like Family Guy besides me? I know for sure I am not the only one. After the Seasons 1 and 2 DVD came out in Italy on Region 2, I was thoroughly upset. Recently it was revealed that it would be on DVD here SOON, and now this. That is fantastic.
I debated running this story today, because some of you might think it was some kind of cruel April Fools Day joke. However, I will let this site’s track record with our previous Buffy scoops stand as record of how accurate we’ve been in the past.
March 14 is the start date for shooting on the next-to-last episode of the adventures of the world’s favorite vampire slayer. And so, while we prepare to mourn the eventual loss we will feel around 8:58PM on May 20, allow us to give you a slight glimpse at a new character who will help Buffy on her quest to vanquish the ultimate Big Bad once and for all.
As HBO’s “Sex & the City” begins pre-production on the final 8 episodes of the series’ run, the search begins for a new lead character that will pair off with Kim Catrall’s Samantha Jones. Of the staff here, I seem to be the one least familiar with “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” My wife is a fanatic of the show, which is not a bad thing by any means. Together we have all three seasons released on DVD thus far, the “Buffy” board game, the “Buffy” XBox game (we bought the system just so she could have this game), a truckload of “Buffy” books, every “Buffy” comic made… she even put a Buffy and Angel litho over our bed! But she’s in court all day today, so I couldn’t rely on her expertise. Amy, our resident television commentator and a righteous “Buffy” fan in her own right, is also out of commission for the day. But when we get info this good from our trusted casting sources, we don’t want to hold it. The fans must be told!
Ah, the biggest day for Madison Avenue has come and gone in Super Bowl XXXVII, offering a chance to reach more than 130 million people in the United States. In the end, though, the Buccaneers pulled ahead to win 48-21.
