Only nine original episodes of NBC’s “Friends” remain before the series signs off forever and, due to its accelerated schedule, we now have less than two months before the cast will wrap filming in January. What does the future hold for the series? Will the pregnant girl from Ohio indeed make Chandler and Monica the mother of her unborn baby? Will Rachel and Ross find true love? Will Phoebe get to walk down the aisle with Mike? And how exactly will producers set up Matt LeBlanc for his new series “Joey” next fall?
So many questions, so few answers. But we seem to have one piece of the puzzle to how it all ends.
According to casting notes obtained by FilmJerk.com, an unnamed episode that will begin filming December 9 finds one or more of the “Friends” looking at real estate outside of the city limits, in Westchester. According to these casting calls, producers are looking to cast a woman named Ellen, a realtor in Westchester, and the couple of Eric and Debra, a couple in their 50s who live in a home there.
Of course, the most plausible choice of the “Friends” making the zip code switch would be Monica and Chandler, who will soon adopt the child mentioned above. But our sources is not willing to talk on the particulars here.
At the same time, producers are casting a dean of faculty where Ross teaches, although the producers have not yet made up their mind as to whether the dean is female or male.
