Fast Food Nation (Fox Searchlight Pictures): Richard Linklater’s fictionized adaptation of the 2001 bestselling book by Eric Schlosser has been bumped from October 20 to November 17

Hair High (Plymptoons): The latest film from animator extraordinaire Bill Plympton will open at the Two Boots Pioneer Theatre in New York City on October 18

The Host (Magnolia Pictures): This South Korean drama based on the real life incident of the poisoning of a major city river will open in America January 26

Lucky You (Warner Brothers): The unlucky Curtis Hanson gambling drama has been dealt another release date, March 16, one day shy of the first anniversary of its first release date

Nancy Drew (Warner Brothers): Julia Roberts’s niece Emma plays the titular teen crimefighter in this mystery, which had been bumped up from August 10 to June 15

The Reaping (Warner Brothers): The Hilary Swank-led religious drama will now open on March 30

Severance (Magnolia Pictures): Christopher Smith’s British drama about a group of coworkers who must fight for their own survival during a company retreat gone horribly wrong will open in the States March 9

Spring Breakdown (Warner Brothers): Three thirtysomething friends break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on an island that’s a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds in this comedy now set to open on April 13

300 (Warner Brothers): The big screen adaptation of Frank Miller’s graphic novel about the Battle of Thermopaylae, where Spartan king Leonidas led his army of 300 soldiers into battle against the invading Persian army, whose valor and sacrifice inspired all of Greece to unite against their Persian foe and leading to the origins of democracy, will now open on March 9

Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls (Lionsgate): Can Perry find success without his best known character, Madear We’ll find out when this drama featuring Gabrielle Union opens on Valentine’s Day
