Flannel Pajamas (Gigantic Pictures): Jeff Lipsky’s drama about the ups and downs of one romance will open at the Angelika Film Center in New York City on September 1

The Good German (Warner Brothers): The next Soderbergh/Clooney match-up will now open November 22

Hairspray (New Line Cinema): The big screen adaptation of the Broadway musical adaptation of John Waters’s cult hit about a young socially awkward woman who tries to become a dancer on a local television show will arrives in movie theatres December 21, 2007

Hoax (Miramax Films): Richard Gere stars as Clifford Irving, the infamous writer who, for a while, was able to pass off his fake biography of Howard Hughes as the real thing, in this Lasse Hallstrom drama now set to open in theatres November 3

Journey 3-D (New Line Cinema): Utilizing the latest in digital filmmaking technology, this adaptation of the Jules Verne classic “Journey to the Center of the Earth” will explode onto screens July 20, 2007

Knocked Up (Universal Pictures): Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogan star as young adults who find themselves dealing with impending parenthood after a one night stand in Judd Apatow’s comedy, due to be delivered August 17, 2007

Looking for Kitty (THINKFilm): The second film from Edward Burns this year will open in select markets this September

Notes on a Scandal (Fox Searchlight): Cate Blanchett and Judi Dench star in Richard Eyre’s drama about a pottery teacher who has an affair with one of her students, which will start its run for awards December 22
