Brooklyn Rules (Hannover House): The Freddie Prinze Jr. Brooklyn mob drama, written by Terrence Winter of “The Sopranos,” will now open in select markets on September 8

Edmond (First Independent Pictures): Stuart Gordon’s adaptation of the David Mamet play will open at the Quad Cinemas in New York City and additional theatres in select markets on July 14

F**k (THINKFilm): After finding success with last year’s “The Aristocrats,” the distributor has picked up Steve Anderson’s paean to the classic curse word, which will open in theatres this summer

Going Under: (Frontier Films): Roger Rees from “Cheers” stars in Eric Werthman’s directorial debut, playing a married psychotherapist who begins to see his dominatrix outside of their sessions, opening at the Two Boots Pioneer Theatre in New York City on June 15

Haven (Freestyle Releasing): The Orlando Bloom/Bill Paxton crime drama has been delayed from its April 21 release. No new date has been submitted

Hoot (New Line Cinema): Here’s a new one for you… the adaptation of Carl Hiaasen’s bestseller about a Montana boy who moves to Florida and unearths a threat to the local population of endangered owls, has been delayed from April 21 to May 5 in order to take advantage of the availability of Jimmy Buffett, who corproduced and contributed original music to the movie

Kiss Me Again (M.E.G.A. Films): William Tyler Smith’s menage-a-trois drama, which somehow features Fred Armisen and Darrell Hammond in supporting roles, opens the Quad Cinemas in New York City on May 5, shortly after it makes its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival

P.D.R. (Lionsgate): Bernie Mac and Terrence Howard star in this fact-based drama about an inner city swim coach who fights to build a swim team in a tough Philadelphia neighborhood, set to open December 22

Trust the Man (Fox Searchlight Pictures): August 18 to May 26

What is a Man without a Mustacher (Doors Art Foundation): Hrvoje Hribar’s Croat drama about a priest from a bankrupt parish who is torn when a recently widowed woman starts to show him affection will open at the Two Boots Pioneer Theatre in New York City on May 25
