Adam & Steve (TLA Releasing): Craig Chester’s comedy about two gay men finding love in New York City, featuring Parker Posey and Chris Kattan in supporting roles, will now open in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Washington DC on March 31

Awesome: I F*ckin’ Shot That! (THINKFilm): The Beastie Boys concert film will open in major markets on March 31

Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction (MGM/Columbia Pictures): The opening of the completely unnecessary sequel to the once-controversial sexual thriller has been pushed back three weeks to March 31

Dreamgirls (Dreamworks SKG): The long-planned movie adaptation of the smash-hit Broadway show, which stars Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx, Beyonce and Danny Glover, will open in theatres December 22, 2006

Hoodwinked! (The Weinstein Company): The CG animated comedic retelling of classic children’s fairy tales will now have a one week Oscar qualifying run on December 16 before opening in 1500 plus locations on January 13

The King (THINKFilm): Gael Garcia Bernal and William Hurt star in James Marsh’s drama about a recently discharged Navy man who returns to his childhood home in Corpus Christi, Texas to reunite with his father, opening in Los Angeles and New York City on May 5

The Lake House (Warner Brothers): Has stock risen for the supernatural drama which reteams “Speed” co-stars Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullockr The film has been reslotted from its early February berth and beefed up for a prime June 16 opening

Loverboy (THINKFilm): Kevin Bacon directs Kyra Sedgwick and Sandra Bullock in this drama about a neglected daughter who grows up to become a possessive mother, opening in Los Angeles and New York City on June 2

Master of the Crimson Armor (The Weinstein Company): The latest Chinese epic from Chen Kaige will now open in Los Angeles on December 23 for a one week Oscar qualifying run. No additional release information was announced

A Night at the Museum (Twentieth Century Fox): The new Ben Stiller film, where he plays a security guard unready for the supernatural after hours goings-on at his new job, opening in theatres December 22, 2006

Night Watch (Fox Searchlight Pictures): The smash-hit Russian supernatural action thriller is now scheduled to open in America on February 17

Say Uncle (TLA Releasing): Peter Paige from “Queer as Folks” directs and stars in this dramatic comedy about a loner with serious emotional issues, opening in Los Angeles and New York City on April 28

Stoned (Intandem/Screen Media Films): “The Crying Game” producer Stephen Wooley makes his directorial debut with this bio-pic concerning the sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll-fueled life and death of Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones, opening in Los Angeles and New York City on March 17

Stormbreaker (The Weinstein Company): Ewan McGregor, Damian Lewis, Bill Nighy, Sophie Okonedo, Mickey Rourke and Alicia Silverstone support newcomer Alex Pettyfer in this potential franchise starter about a teenager who reluctantly joins the Special Operations Division of Britain’s intelligence service MI6 for a mission which will save millions of lives. Film will open in theatres August 18

Tamara (City Lights Pictures): The film’s director Jeremy Haft informs FilmJerk.com that his film is now set to open February 3, not January 13

Thank You for Smoking (Fox Searchlight Pictures): This corporate satire from Jason Reitman has been moved up from March 24 to March 17
