Garfield 2 (Twentieth Century Fox): The unnecessary sequel to 2004’s not-so-surprising hit will begin its assault on theatres June 16, six weeks earlier than previously scheduled

Hostel (Lions Gate Films): The new film from “Cabin Fever” director and Troma fanatic Eli Roth has been slotted to open January 6

I’m Taraneh, 15 (Menemsha Films): Rasul Sadrameli’s 2003 Iranian drama will make its American theatrical debut at the Quad Cinemas in New York City on December 2

Isn’t This a Time! (Seventh Art Releasing): Jim Brown’s concert documentary featuring Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger, The Weavers, Theodore Bikel and Peter, Paul and Mary honoring their longtime manager Harold Leventhal, will open at the Quad Cinemas in New York City on December 9

The Plague (Screen Gems): Clive Barker produces this horror film about the consequences when all the world’s children, who mysterious fell into a coma ten years previous, reawaken. Film will open in the fall of 2006

Waging a Living (Public Policy Productions): Roger Weisberg, Pamela Harris, Frances Reid and Edward Rosenstein’s documentary about the battle of four low-wage workers to lift their families out of poverty will open at Laemmle’s Fairfax Cinemas in Los Angeles on November 11
