Dying for Dolly (Lions Gate): Usher is hired by Chazz Palminteri to protect his daughter, in this action/romantic comedy opening late in 2005

Flushed Away (DreamWorks): From the team who created “Wallace and Gromit” comes this animated comedy about a pampered rat that loses his privileged life when he is flushed into a gutter, which will open on November 3, 2006

Howl’s Moving Castle (Buena Vista): The latest from master anime director Hayao Miyazaki will open in select markets in the United States this June

Just Like Heaven (DreamWorks): Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo star in this new romantic comedy from the director of “Mean Girls,” opening this fall

Mindhunters (Miramax): Renny Harlin’s oft-delayed thriller now moves to May 13

Monster House (Columbia): Robert Zemeckis produces this CG performance-capture comedy thriller about three kids going up against a local haunted house, which will open on July 21, 2006

Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior (Magnolia Pictures): Opens in the top twenty markets on February 11

Palindromes (Wellspring Media): The latest from director Todd Solondz will open in New York City on April 13, before opening in Los Angeles two days later

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (Buena Vista): The second chapter of this planned trilogy will open on July 7, 2006

The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio (DreamWorks): Julianne Moore stars as a housewife who becomes a prizewinning commercial jingle writer, in this dramatic comedy opening this fall

Red-Eye (DreamWorks): Wes Craven directs Rachel McAdams in this airline-set thriller, opening this fall
