Assault On Precinct 13 (Focus): The Ethan Hawke/Laurence Fishburne-led remake of John Carpenter’s ploice drama will open on January 19, two days earlier than previously set

Be Here To Love Me: A Film About Thomas Van Zandt (Palm): Margaret Brown’s tribute to the man some feel to be the greatest songwriter ever, will open in select markets on July 29

Bomb The System (Palm): Adam Bhala Lough’s tribute to the heydays of the New York City graffiti scene will open in New York City and Los Angeles on April 8

Clean (Palm): The latest from Olivier Assayas, featuring Maggie Cheung as a woman who wrestles with her dream of becoming a singer, will open in major markets this September

Cronicas (Palm): Sebastián Cordero’s suspense thriller, about a reporter from Miami who travels to Ecuador in pursuit of a serial killer known as the “Monster of Babahoyo,” will open in select markets on May 27

Dot the I (Innovation Film Group): Gael Garcia Bernal stars in this 2003 Sundance entry, a British drama about a love triangle, which will open in limited release on March 11

Dust To Glory (IFC): Dana Brown’s documentary about the Baja 1000 race will open in New York City and Los Angeles on April 1

5×2 (THINKFilm): The latest from director François Ozon will open in New York City and Los Angeles on June 10

Freedomland (Columbia): “Christmas with the Kranks” director Joe Roth takes a serious turn, in this adaptation of Richard Price’s 1999 novel about an African-American detective (Samuel L. Jackson) and a white newspaper reporter (Julianne Moore) who team up to investigate a racial controversy created when a single white mother blames an African-American man from the projects for the kidnapping and murder of her daughter. Film has been scheduled to open on January 13, 2006

Gunner Palace (Palm Pictures): This Iraqi war documentary, focusing on the lives of two units who lived in Uday Hussein’s palace, which they renamed “Gunner Palace,” will open in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington DC on March 4

The Honeymooners (Paramount): Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps star in this modern adaptation of the classic Jackie Gleason TV show, which will open in theatres on March 11

Hostage (Miramax): The Bruce Willis action/drama will now open on March 11, several weeks later than previously scheduled

Inside Deep Throat (Universal Pictures): Documentary by the team behind “Party Monster,” which examines the cultural impact made by the infamous 1970s porno film, will open in major markets on Febraury 11

The Jacket (Warner Independent Pictures): The Adrian Brody/Keira Knightley drama will now open on March 4, one week earlier than previously scheduled

Kung Fu Hustle (Sony Classics): Stephen Chow’s follow-up to “Shaolin Soccer” will open in New York City and Los Angeles on March 18, one week earlier than previously set

Nobody Knows (IFC): This Japanese drama will open in New York City on February 4, one week later than previously set

The Nomi Song (Palm): Andrew Horn’s documentary about the incomparable 1980s music icon, featuring interviews with friends like David Bowie and Ann Magnuson, will open in New York City and Los Angeles on February 4

The Pink Panther (MGM/UA): Can Steve Martin effectively replace Peter Sellers as the most famous French inspector in movie history? We’ll find out on September 23, two months later than previously scheduled

Turtles Can Fly (IFC): Bahman Ghobadi’s Kurdish drama will open in New York City on February 18

Unleashed (Focus Features): The Jet Li/Morgan Freeman action drama, cowritten by Luc Besson, will hit American theatres on April 8

Zathura (Sony): Based on Chris Van Allsburg’s indirect follow-up to “Jumanji,” this Jon Favreau-directed fantasy film will open the day before next Thanksgiving, nearly a month earlier than previously set
