Male strippers and swinger couples? It must be a new Casting Couch!

News items in the TV community come in each day here to FilmJerk.com. We catch the minutia that falls through the cracks, and discuss them more in depth than most probably deserve.  Today’s couch includes info on “Brothers & Sisters,” “CSI,” “Entourage,” “Samantha Who?” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”

Sarah goes into business on Brothers and Sisters with two smart slackers starting their own company.

Californication episode 205 has a dorky yet classy porn director who actually went to film school and an annoying, perky cooking show hostess.

The crew on Cold Case reopen the murder of a young teacher who was in over her head at an inner city school in episode “True Calling.” And people wonder why there’s a teacher shortage.

Paul Attanasio has a new pilot, Courtroom K. In it, a public defender goes up against a tough DA, in a case that would send an innocent man to jail over a technicality. Also a woman has to testify against her husband or risk losing her baby. Harsh.

In CSI episode 902, “The Happy Place,” the victim will be a pretty high school guidance counselor who led a wild double life partying and gambling. I predict a lot of angry parents sue the school for millions after their kids took the lady’s advice and joined the circus.

Dirty Sexy Money episode 203 “The Witness List” gives us our first glimpse at Nick’s mom Clare: an expatriate living in Paris who abandoned him when he was a kid. Also an enforcer is hired to terrorize Carmelita, but Patrick has something else in mind for him.

Ari is in for a surprise in the 5th season of Entourage when he gets a strip-o-gram… male cop strippers.

The doctors on ER have their hands full in episode “Another Thursday at County” when an explosion brings in lots of customers, including one guy who brings in a dangerous substance. Will someone die? They’ll probably threaten it, at least.

On Everybody Hates Chris episode “Everybody Hates Homecoming” a mother and daughter pair are younger versions of Phylicia Rashad and Lisa Bonet, respectively.

Next season on My Name is Earl, keep an eye out for a 40ish disfigured former cheerleader who was attacked by a school mascot: a badger. Guess it’s a good thing the school’s mascot wasn’t a tiger.

Nip/Tuck episode 519 has two power agent partners, both named Steve, who run a modeling agency for babies.

Samantha lets a young college grad do body shots off of her down in Miami in Samantha Who? second season premiere episode “Out of Africa.”

In Swingtown episode 110 “Running on Empty,” Tom and Trina break their swinging fast and dial up another pretty swinging couple.

The second season premiere of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles brings a few new FBI agents and possibly a new tech company for the Connors to obliterate. Let’s hope the managers who work there aren’t associated with SkyNet, for their own sakes.

In a flashback we get to see young Kirby humiliated in his underwear on an upcoming episode of Without a Trace.
